MG Consulting Engineers were appointed to provide a solution for the disposal effluent discharge from the existing oil separators located at Transnet Pipelines’ Alrode and Witbank Deports to their respective municipal sewer lines. The proposed solutions were required to comply with the requirements of the General Authorisations (GA) obtained from the respective municipalities (Ekurhuleni and Emalahleni) to discharge effluent from the two oil and water separators, to their respective municipal sewer networks after the oil has been removed.
